Is there a default limit for no. of records in data tab ?

Yes, the default is 100000 rows. Customizable in Tools > Preferences > Data.

Thanks. Step is 1000, so I was a bit lost where did all the data go.

Probably you didn't noticed that: Further rows are loaded when pressing PageDown in the grid.
