Upgrade to new version worries

Good Day all .. Ie been running HeidiSQL about a year . I keep getting bugged to update .. scared to update it lol.. If I run the update will it hose my current db . yea I have backups .. but really dont wanna go there if I dont have to. Please give me a blanket and warm coco .. and say it will be alright old man lol

Did you mean "lose" ? In that case - no, you won't lose your data when updating HeidiSQL.
