SQL Error (1130)

When I tried starting up HeidiSQL, I encountered the following error message:

SQL Error (1130) in statement #0: Host 'CPE18933f86db1-CM18933f86dae.cpe.net.cable.rog... is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

you need to modify the user account on the server using a hostname which matches your above ...net.cable.dog.whatever. You can try using the wildcard % as hostname, which will always match but also has security issues.
