how to enable Resut panel in Query tab

Hi Dudes,

I am quite new to HeidiSQL. I culdnt see the result panes in Query tab. Whenever i type query and executed, it is getting executed. But where is the result panel. i couldnt see that

I should finally fix that, this was reported quite often.

The result panel is there, but obviously hidden if you can't see it. You have either enlargened your query editor's height, or the SQL log is too high. Just make it smaller and the result grid will appear.

The SQL log has a splitter at the top which can be dragged. Just try to make it smaller.

I've got the same problem, but the SQL log is only on the bottom part of the window. I can execute the query, when I open a new query tab and close it again. I can see the query results flashing up but then they are gone again. Any idea on how to get it "back"?

okay, got it back on screen. Trying to drag the SQL log totally to the bottom worked in the end. Though it took several attempts till i finally could see the splitter again which seperates the Query from the results.

Close HeidiSql. Try find c:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HeidiSQL\tabs.ini Cnange "EditorHeight" to small value: EditorHeight=184 Restart HeidiSql.

Changing Editorheight in the ini file worked for me. Thanks!
