SSL Issue

Hello,

I recently updated to the most recent nightly build (5295) and could no longer connect to my MariaDB server with with SSL. The error message I was getting is as follows.

SSL error: The message received was unexpected or badly formed

I went back to your last official release 9.5.0.5196 and SSL works again. Any ideas what would cause that in the newest nightly?

Has this been fixed in the newest release? I believe version 10.1 is the newest. I want to update my install but I need SSL to work.

The problem was perhaps the older libmysql.dll and/or libmariadb.dll in your HeidiSQL folder. But I'm not sure, you will have to try out if installing the official 10.1 installer solves that.

At least I can't find a matching issue in the bugtracker: https://github.com/HeidiSQL/HeidiSQL/issues?q=ssl

I just installed 10.1 and tried to log in to my MariaDB server with SSL and I still get the following error.

SSL connection error: The message received was unexpected or badly formatted

Now that I'm aware of the bug tracker. I'll submit an issue there.

Thank you.
