I tried replacing latest workbench libmysql, I tried latest heidisql but its not working. Any idea how to fix it for mysql 8.0.13

Hi,

I had the same problem.

The solution proposed in Stackoverflow to change "Authentication Method" resolved the issue. As newbie on the forum I still can't post the links :) Remove the spaces, change dots, etc: https : stackoverflow DOT com SLASH a SLASH 50737698

Of course, I have full access to MySQL 8 server configuration (MySQL Installer).
