Tools/import csv file

Is there anywhere option to remember selected encoding from previous import. If not that should be default. I assume anyone uses same OS/editor before import so encoding should be generally same for all imports.

When you open a .csv file for importing in that dialog, watch out for the selected encoding in the file-open-dialog. Do not use "Auto detect". Instead, use the right encoding of the opened file. Afterwards, that encoding gets auto-selected the next time you open a file:
