Process hangs after making connection

I tried running different versions, connecting to different hosts but process hangs for infinite after choosing host dialog.

How can I debug hanging reason? Help please

I would first give it one or two minutes. Probably that is a one-timer.

If not, please post the type of the connection. (MySQL? SSH tunnel?)

Also, please look into the preferences dialog. You can do that from the session manager's "More" button. Especially these options could be testwise disabled:

I turned on logging with debug messages, and it says that commands goes normally: SELECT CONNECTION_ID(), SHOW VARIABLES, SHOW /!50002 GLOBAL / STATUS, SHOW DATABASES and so on

Last 2 rows in log:

• Restoring tab setup from ...tabs.ini,
• and opened tag /*

Nothing suspicious

I deleted files AppData\Roaming\HeidiSQL\Backups*.sql and bug fixed.

There were 2 files, with previous queries I did (Update, Select). Somehow they prevented program to go normally
