Limit number of query tabs?

I find it very annoying that for every single procedure I run, a new query tab is created. Is there a setting to limit the number of query tabs to let's say 5, and whenever it reaches the limit, it automatically removes the oldest?

No, there is no such a setting. You need to close some tabs by hand. There is no way for HeidiSQL to know which of the tabs you don't need any longer.
