Advice for udate from 10.3.0.5771 to current 12.1 Build 6566

Hello

At the moment I have HeidiSQL with MariaDB running with the version 10.3.0.5771 and I would like to upgrade to the current Build of 12.1.

Since I dont have mutch expirence in updating SQL Programms, I wuld like to ask if there any steps I must pay attention to, or what the best practice is.

Best practice is to download and install the official 12.1 installer from the downloads page, and to overwrite your existing 10.3 version. This will ensure you have only one location where Heidi is installed. Existing settings are kept / not touched.
