Auto-refresh on Data view

It would be usefull to be able to manually activate a refresh loop. During the development process table data changes often. I often catch myself working with old data.

In my opinion adding a auto-refresh button to the taskbar would be useful. The preferences window then could contain a setting with the length of the refresh interval.

You can already do that: Click the drop-down button right besides the "Refresh" button on the main toolbar (the green arrows). Then, click auto-refresh and/or set up the interval in seconds.

Thanks, this works great! Even the scrollbar stays on the same location...

Is there a place where features like this are documented?

I'm afraid there is very few documentation on HeidiSQL, apart from the readme.txt, this forum and a handfull of tutorials from other users somewhere on the web.

How can I use "Auto Refresh" on "Query" tab?

I was using table filter which works fine with "Auto Refresh" but because table filter doesn't work with some queries.

P.S. I'm sorry for updating this thread

AFAIK, you can't. There is no auto refresh for queries.
