Handling braces

I miss possibility to handle braces in text editor:

1. to highlight both the "(" and ")" if cursor is on one of them.
2. to jump cursor from one brace to the other, using keyboard shortcut (for example Ctrl-] )
3. to create selection covering braced area, using keyboard shortcut (for example Ctrl-Shift-] )

1. It works only for expressions in current line. Doesn't work if braces are in different lines.
2. Yes, that's what I needed.
3. Still missing. It can be useful to select whole subquery to take it out for tuning in a new tab and then get back and paste new edition.
