Better late than never: Yesterday I configured heidisql.com for the IPv6 address 2a01:488:66:1000:53a9:8f8:0:1, additionally to the existing IPv4 address 83.169.8.248.
My Firefox and Edge on Windows 10 have zero problems with that. However, if you encounter any problems, especially while checking for HeidiSQL updates, please report that to HeidiSQL's bug tracker.
