hi anse,
is it possible for you to save the session managers position (and perhaps dimensions, too) by maybe settings its forms position value to poDesktopCenter or storing the required information in the registry.
as i'm working on a big screen as well as i've many users on my database, its a bit annoying always dragging the window to the screens center and resizing it in order to overview all saved sessions :D
just some little idea ;)
Remember session managers position and dimensions
Hi,
Can I second this request?
Somehow when I launch HeidiSQL (latest version & nightly build 6.0.0.3734), it always starts on my second monitor, which is not want I usually want. I must have dragged it there at some point and it was remembered.
When I drag it to the first monitor the position is not remembered.
I have managed to edit the Registry Key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HeidiSQL\windowleft
to move into onto the first monitor again. It would be nice if this was done automatically :)
Regards
Ian

Hi Anse,
I have HeidiSQL maximised all the time so it didn't affect my setup and did seems to move the session manager over to the right monitor.
I changed the value from 1680 to 100 which seemed to match up with its new position. I therefore assumed I had the right key.
There have been no adverse side effects, so better than a re-install at this point ;)
