OSX

Will this ever be available for osx? I do not want to use wine I'd just really love to be able to use this as a native osx application. There are no free sql gui's for mac that compare to heidisql

With my current Delphi XE5 compiler, a MacOS version has become possible. Unfortunately, I would have to rewrite the whole application, and some very important stuff would have to be done with different components, e.g. the database tree. To be honest, it's quite unlikely that I find the time for such a rewrite.

Thats a shame. This is by far the best mysql gui available.

I would like to second that. Would you be willing to rewrite the code for OS X if we would fund the project?

I don't think I have the time for a complete rewrite. I am a full time web developer, father, husband, dog and cat owner, and more. Where the hell should I take such a huge bunch of time?

Well then it's time for us to unite, would you be willing to allow anybody else to join the project and help you out?

Such a thing would be an entirely new project, not something wat I would be hosting here. I have no problem with that. As long as you keep the copyrights and follow the GPL license, you can create such a project.
