Groups in the project tree.

Hello, good morning.

I have been an active user of Hedi for many years. This is the first time I am writing, but I encountered an issue with organization. What possibilities are there for creating folders or groups within the application to make it easier to organize tables, views, and stored procedures? There are projects with a large number of tables, and having them organized would be ideal.

In HeidiSQL's left tree view, you can switch activate "Group objects by type", which shows "Tables" and "Views" for instance as an additional tree level.

Apart from that, you cannot create custom folders or such stuff.

I highly recommend to use the filters on top of the tree. They're really helpful, especially as they support regular expressions. And they have a drop-down menu providing the recently used filters.

I understand what you are saying and I use the tool quite a bit, but add custom folders where the projects can be better organized, for example: users folder, product folder, folder, reports, and be able to include view tables and procedures. I've seen that other SQL viewers have it, but the ease and practicality that Heidi has is superior to many, which is why I don't abandon it. I wanted to congratulate you for the excellent work you have been doing.
