Android Version badly required

I think a lot of people would be glad too, if heidi could be recompiled for android.
Every admin has a need for remote access and instead of clumsy notebooks, an android tab or phone is always with us.
I don't know a better MySql Tool than heidi I would like to have on my android too.
And - by the way - a reasonable price (let us say under 5 Euros) on google play would pay back the developement work soon!
Anyone else, who would like an Android version?

Same problem for me as for a MacOS version - I would have to rewrite the whole application in order to be able to compile it for Android. So, it's up to others doing that. Feel free :)

Maybe someone else will try this, but I fear I have to rely on PhpMyAdmin when I am not in reach of my notebook for a long time.

All the android apps which are currently on the playstore are still far far away from Heidi.

for android, there is prosql - much simpler than heidisql, but can do ssh tunnels.

I'm too new to post links, I guess - so - go to the WineHQ site - it's an ORG one - go to the AppDB - and search for HeidiSQL...

I have used WINE on a MintOS Linux distro without issue on MANY applications (MS Office, HeidiSQL) - I didn't think it existed for Android - but - evidently - it does. I will try to install it on a non-mission-critical tablet and see how it works - if/when I get to this - I will post my results...if anyone beats me to it - please let me know - thanks!!!
