How to export a Table "Data" content as XML file?

Is there a way to export the currently marked Table as XML file?

or even better only the currently marked lines from a Table?

Yes, click the "Data" tab, select the rows you want to export, then rightclick the grid and click "Export grid rows". You will find export options for XML, CSV, PHP, Markdown, JSON etc.
