Can't connect to server if ';' exist in password

I can't connect to MySQL server if my password contain ';' char. Yeah, I dislike passwords with chars like this too but our admins are uncorruptible and often generate passwotds with these chars and don't want to change it :)

I can connect to server with this password using mysql.exe without problems. and... Front 2.5 work fine with this password too.

I hope you fix it in future %-)
