Query history - not working

It looks like around 11/29/15 this stopped working. The logging is working and I have logs up through today, but the Query history only shows through 11/29.

Probably the registry storage is somehow broken, or full, or whatever. You can make a quick test to check that, by clicking File > Export settings to file, then checking the size of that txt file. It should not be more than 1M - roughly.

HeidiSQL itself automatically deletes old history items so the whole history for one session is always below 1 mb.

Also, HeidiSQL does not store queries

  • which have a size of 1M or more
  • which are a batch of queries with 5 or more queries
  • which returned an error from the server
