Did you set up native Direct2d instead of builtin, like stated on the download page?

Just tied it and it works now.

I did not need this fix when using https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/heidisql/ (build 5196).

I also tried removing this override with winecfg and it works fine without it.

I tried in terminal also and it works with Builtin and Native.

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d2d1=n" wine ~/.heidisql/heidisql.exe

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d2d1=b" wine ~/.heidisql/heidisql.exe (builtin has more warnings)

0009:fixme:d3d11:d3d_blend_state_create Per-rendertarget blend not implemented.
0009:fixme:d3d11:d3d_blend_state_create Color mask 0 not supported for render target 4.

I can't break it anymore so it does not make sense to me. Bui I am glad it works now with the latest version. :)
