HeidiSQL in WINE on Kubuntu

On a fresh install of Kubuntu 22.10 and WINE 7.0 on an old laptop, HeidiSQL does not open. It just gives an error asking to retry or quit. On two other Ubuntu 22.10 systems with the same version of WINE it runs fine but those two are running Ubuntu Studio, not the lighter Kubuntu. As I understand it, they have the same kernel but a different desktop so is there some dependency that it might need to run? Even the stand-alone version fails.
