Window size and position

IDK if this really counts as a bug - it may even be more a Windows issue - and it's not really very important, but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this: as often as not, Heidi seems to "forget" the last woindow size and position, and opens in a small window near the top left of screen.

It doesn't seem to make a difference whether I close it via the menu or the window's X button. Just one of life's little irritations. I can live with it.

Mostly caused by one or more monitors being plugged off and on again. In such cases the previous window dimensions and position cannot be fully restored.

Interesting - ta. I do have a second monitor permanently plugged in, which I sometimes turn on and sometimes don't, depending what I'm working on - but I don't often open or drag Heidi into it.

I've just tried a few experiments turning it on and off and opening and closing Heidi - and, typically, I can't reproduce the issue "on demand"!

Never mind - don't waste any time on it - I was just curious.

On another issue (maybe I ought to raise a separate ticket), could the choice of SQL-reformatter be moved to preferences, so that it doesn't have to selected each and every time? I tend to use that quite a lot and having to go through that extra dialog every time is something of a minor irritation (even if I do just use the default internal one).
