I am interested in being able to save several groups of open columns.

First, I can not thank you enough for this program. I am so impressed with it. I tried so many database managers and even though I use some other applications for certain things, this program is very useful for using to manipulate the data easily.

My question is I am interested in being able to save several groups of open columns. I would like to set different views up and be able to choose from a list to reinstate the view I want when I need to use it. I tried saving as a query, but I can't change the data when I use a select statement. Am I missing this, or is it even a remote possibility? I totally understand if it is too much to ask. Any workaround ideas? Thanks.

This is issue #723 - long time most wanted feature by many users, and I just started to plan how to accomplish that. Probably you are also happy when selecting columns in the "Data" tab?
